Conversational Mandarin for teens and adults

Learn Mandarin you can actually use — travel, work, family, or study abroad — with a licensed native teacher who previously taught at Shanghai University.

Built for how adults learn

Adults often progress quickly with grammar and reading, but speaking is the piece that stalls without regular practice. Lessons with Siwen prioritize real conversation in Mandarin, corrected gently in the moment, instead of only textbook drills.

Teens preparing for school Chinese, college placement, or family communication get the same speaking-first approach, with goals set around their timeline.

What you can work on

  • Everyday conversational fluency and listening comprehension
  • Tone accuracy and natural pronunciation
  • Practical vocabulary for work, travel, or family life
  • Cultural context behind idioms and everyday customs
  • Reading and writing when you are ready — including character support
  • Optional path into HSK exam preparation
